Socks and hem for a low shoe
The GEL-NYC is a low-profile trainer with a firmer feel underfoot than the Kayano 14, and that lower stance changes two small things.
- Sock height. A crew sock showing above the collar is the safe call. With cream, a white sock reads slightly cool next to the shoe. Off-white or a warm grey blends better.
